Flint Hills Sheepadoodle Breeders are a boutique breeder with lovingly home-bred family pups. The pups are a mix of Old English Sheepdog and Poodle.

Flint Hills Sheepadoodles and Margie Walker are pleased to announce that the Sheepadoodle breeder will have a Spring 2022 litter available for adoption. Sheepadoodles are a mix of Old English Sheepdog and Poodle. They are great family dogs because they are gentle, smart, fun-loving, and hypo-allergenic. The dam Sheepadoodle is a 50-50 mix of Old English Sheepdog and Poodle. At the same time, the sire is 100 percent poodle. The pups will be 75 percent poodle and are expected to be in the 10 to 18-pound range. These are considered to be Micro-Mini Sheepadoodles.

The breeders fell in love with Sheepadoodles because they are loving and fun, as well as being great family pets. The puppies can vary in appearance from a very straight coat to a very curly coat. They can be black and white, mostly black, or mostly white. Depending on the parents, some present as multi-colored.

The crossbreed Sheepadoodles tend to come with the best features of both breeds. Poodles are known for their intelligence, while the Old English Sheepdogs have a reputation of a sweet disposition. The mix makes them smart, energetic, and easy-going. The combination of positive characteristics makes this breed a great choice for families, even families with small children. The breed is funny and smart, as well as being really cute and with an engaging and unique personality.

The Old English Sheepdog is one of the oldest dog breeds, originally used to herd sheep. Today, they are used in therapy programs, search and rescue teams, and military and police forces. Poodles were bred to hunt and fish in Germany’s marshlands. They have curly coats and are useful in the water. Together, these two breeds form one of the more popular puppy crossbreeds in the market, thanks to their compact size, great disposition, and hypo-allergenic coat.
