Art Hide’s Vivid Nature Collection: Luxury Hair-on-Hide Rugs with Australian Nature-Inspired Color Palette
Art Hide, the Australian-founded, USA based luxury rug company, has released its stunning new collection, Vivid Nature. The ethically sourced cowhide rug range features a specially dipped, nature-inspired color palette. Striking fine patterns and abstract shapes are facilitated by Art Hide’s innovative new stitch-less technology, which the brand has termed Fusion.
The designs showcase the interplay of light and shadow, and new colors are inspired by the ocean and earth, such as Pink Clay, Rust, Olive, Jade and Petrol. Art Hide developed its Fusion adhesive & compression technique in their Lahore Studio, utilizing similar technology to Pakistan’s stitchless soccer balls. The finish is highly luxurious with longer hair and a plusher base (0.25inch).
An Australian bush setting was chosen to shoot the range, showcasing Art Hide’s brand heritage while highlighting the company’s natural leather materials, sustainability values and artisanal techniques. “We wanted to create a collection that was deeply inspired by nature, but also showcased our commitment to sustainability and craftsmanship,” said Art Hide CEO and Founder, Kura Perkins.
The size, the colors and the shape are all customizable, enabling a highly personalized design experience. The collection is available on both Art Hide’s global web store and premium online retailers, including 1stDibs and Perigold.
Art Hide recently also launched a collaboration with New York Interior Designer, Sasha Bikoff.
